He completed his schooling from “Jamnabai Narsee School” and later he joined the “Sydenham College” and later he earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mumbai. Emraan Hashmi is the Cousin of director “Mohit Suri”. Producer’s Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt as the Uncles of Emraan Hashmi.

Emraan Hashmi started as an “Assistant Director” for the film “Raaz” before pursuing his acting career. Hashmi made his acting introduction in 2003 with Vikram Bhatt’s movie “Footpath”.

In the year 2004, He was with “Anurag Basu’s” Sensational thriller “Murder” with “ Mallika Sherawat” and Ashmit Patel. The film was the biggest hit for Emraan and gave a boost to his career.

The Couple has a son, Ayaan Hashmi was born on 3rd Feb 2010. Ayaan was diagnosed with first stage Cancer.
